In December 20 at the "Nauta" Harbour SA in Gdansk, the launch of fishing vessel commissioned by the Danish shipyard Karstensens Skibsvaer AS. The m/v Torön unit is the last one that was built at the Gdańsk Nauta Plant.

The 49.99 m x 13.20 m trawler was built on the B-1 ramp. It will be equipped with RSW tanks with a capacity of 1250 m3, intended for the transport of live fish. The m / v Torön unit will also be equipped with the Wartsila 8L32 engine as well as modern functional (fishing) and electronic solutions.
After finishing works on the unit, Stocznia Remontowa Nauta S.A. will definitely close the New Construction Works in Gdańsk. Nauta has been operating on the new construction market for seven years, opening a dedicated department in Gdańsk slipways. During this time, it acquired contracts for the construction of 30 new vessels, including two fully equipped research and development vessels for the universities of Goeteborg and Gdańsk, one fully equipped fishing vessel and one electronic reconnaissance vessel. Other vessels are partially equipped with trawlers and offshore vessels.
